UK FCA Releases Roadmap for Asset Management Blockchain Tokenization
ChainCatcher news, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) on Tuesday released a roadmap to help asset management companies adopt blockchain technology for fund tokenization.
This plan aims to provide regulatory clarity for businesses and promote innovation and growth in asset management. FCA Executive Director Simon Walls stated that tokenization has the potential to bring fundamental changes to the industry and consumers. The roadmap includes registration guidelines for tokenized funds under existing rules, a simplified trading framework, and blockchain-based settlement solutions.
