Ethereum core developer Péter Szilágyi reveals letter sent to EF leadership last year
On October 21, Ethereum core developer Péter Szilágyi disclosed a letter he sent to the EF leadership last year, harshly criticizing the Ethereum ecosystem and its Foundation for having serious issues. He pointed out that Ethereum has formed a situation controlled by a small group of "ruling elites," which runs counter to the original intention of decentralization. He also criticized the Foundation's long-term low salary policy, which leads to conflicts of interest and the risk of the protocol being controlled by major players. He specifically mentioned that although Vitalik Buterin does not intend to do so, he actually indirectly controls the development direction of Ethereum, making the project's success or failure dependent on relationships with Vitalik and his circle.
