ChainCatcher News, robot software company OpenMind, together with Robostore, the largest distributor of Unitree in the United States, announced today the launch of the world's first comprehensive humanoid robot education curriculum.

With the widespread adoption of Unitree G1 in campuses and laboratories, institutions need to go beyond standardized academic paths based on literature and simulation. This new curriculum is designed to meet that need: it uses a modular, video-based system covering areas such as motion, perception, coordination, and interaction, based on OpenMind's OM1 operating system, enabling learners to program, test, and deploy humanoid robots in physical environments.

"The development of humanoid robots has already outpaced the supporting educational resources," said OpenMind CEO and Stanford University professor Jan Liphardt. "We built this curriculum so that every lab and student can experiment with embodied intelligence using real hardware, not just write code in simulators."

Robostore CEO Teddy Hagerty added: "This collaboration brings together world-class hardware and a complete educational foundation. With OM1 and Unitree G1, higher education institutions will open a new paradigm for embodied intelligence learning."

Robostore has already supported more than 100 top institutions, including Harvard University, MIT, and Stanford University, indicating the growing demand from technical schools and research institutions. The curriculum will be available this month through Robostore and its partner academic institutions and research laboratories.
