TikTok is introducing a new capability that lets users share content from Amazon Music directly to the platform, the company revealed exclusively to TechCrunch.

With the addition of a “Share to TikTok” button, people using Amazon Music can now post songs, albums, playlists, and personalized listening highlights from their Amazon Music Insights straight to TikTok.

To provide some background, Amazon Music Insights is a recently launched feature that offers users an in-depth overview of their listening patterns and statistics. It features “Monthly Recaps” that highlight your most-played artists, tracks, podcasts, and total listening duration. Now, Amazon Music listeners are able to share these insights directly on TikTok.

The “Share to TikTok” function is already available for Spotify and Apple Music as well.

According to TikTok, this enhancement expands on its ongoing collaboration with Amazon Music via the “Add to Music App” tool, which lets users save songs they find on TikTok to Amazon Music and other top streaming platforms.

This Thursday’s update is a logical move for TikTok, an app that frequently shapes music chart trends. By including Amazon Music in its “Share to TikTok” lineup, TikTok further strengthens its ability to link users with the music and artists they love.
