According to ChainCatcher, as disclosed by Aerodrome, the protocol previously suffered a domain hijacking attack, which was fully mitigated in less than four hours, with user losses amounting to approximately $700,000.

It is reported that within two minutes after the first malicious transaction was detected, major wallets such as MetaMask and a certain exchange wallet began displaying warnings. The losses were limited to users who connected and signed transactions on the malicious website during its active period. Currently, the team is working with security consultants and corporate registrars, and the domain is expected to be migrated and reopened next week. In addition, the Aero and Velo Foundations are formulating plans to provide grants proportional to the losses for affected users.
