Bo Hines, Tether's Digital Assets and US Strategy Advisor, stated that Tether's goal in re-entering the US market is to replicate the success it has achieved overseas. Tether's flagship token, USDT (Tether), is the world's largest stablecoin with a supply of $171 billions, mainly backed by US Treasury bonds.
