More Than 50% of Bitcoin Supply Has Been Inactive in the Last Two Years
According to Glassnode, more than half of the bitcoin supply has not been moved in the last two years. This means that many people who bought bitcoins two years ago are holding onto them and are unwilling to sell.
The supply of bitcoin that has been inactive for more than two years has reached an all-time high of 53%, suggesting that bitcoin holders are very confident in the asset's long-term potential. Moreover, almost 29% of the bitcoin supply has been dormant for the past five years, while less than 15% has been inactive for the past decade, according to KOL Pomp, who cited Glassnode data on Twitter.
