According to Coingecko's report, the market value of tokenized US Treasury bonds increased from $114 million in January 2023 to $665 million at the end of September, a growth rate of 5.84 times.
Under the leadership of traditional financial institutions, the number of projects issuing treasury bond tokens has doubled this year. As of the end of September 2023, Franklin Templeton controlled 46.6% market share, followed by Ondo Finance with a market share of 26.8% ($178.3 million). Ondo Finance was launched in 2021 and transferred to RWA in February 2023.
Most RWA protocols are based on Ethereum, which holds a market share of 49%. Stellar is the preferred network for Franklin Templeton and Wisdomtree, holding a market share of 48%.
