Federal Reserve Beige Book: Little to No Significant Change in Economic Activity
The Federal Reserve's Beige Book on economic conditions reveals that, in most of the 12 Federal Reserve districts, there has been little to no significant change in economic activity since the last Beige Book release. Overall employment levels remained virtually unchanged in seven districts, while labor markets were tight in two districts. Nearly all districts reported a cooling labor market. Six districts reported slight or moderate price increases, and two districts reported moderate increases.
