According to a new developer report released by Electric Capital, the total number of monthly active cryptocurrency developers decreased by 25% year-on-year in 2023. However, developers with long-term experience in the field demonstrated greater resilience than before. The annual growth rate of developers with over two years of cryptocurrency experience reached 51% in the past five years, reaching a historical peak. Developers working in the cryptocurrency field for at least one year experienced a 15% year-on-year growth, constituting 63% of all monthly active developers.
