Jupiter will test the release of meme token WEN before JUP, and the airdrop will be open for application tomorrow night

On January 25th, Meow, co-founder of Jupiter, announced on the X platform that the first token to be tested and launched on the LFG Launchpad platform will be WEN. The airdrop claim for WEN will open at 10:00 AM Eastern Time on January 26th (11:00 PM Beijing Time) and continue until January 29th. According to the disclosed token economic model, 70% of WEN will be airdropped to over one million Solana wallet addresses, including Jupiter users, Ovols NFT holders, Genesis Saga holders, mockJUP test users, etc.; 20% of WEN will be used for liquidity construction; and 10% of WEN will be reserved in the treasury. After the airdrop claim period ends, all unclaimed WEN tokens will be burned. Meow also added that WEN is a token introduced by Ovols team using Jupiter's LFG Launchpad and besides hosting the project and receiving 1% of WEN from its treasury share, Jupiter has no other relationship with this project. In previous news, Jupiter officially announced that it would conduct two token test launches before issuing JUP - one being mockJUP which has already been issued and another being some kind of meme token. Earlier this week, Jupiter announced the launch of the beta version of Jupiter LFG Launchpad and stated that they would use this platform to issue both meme coins as well as JUP tokens.
