Ethereum Spot ETF Approval Expected by Late 2025 or Early 2026, Says TD Cowen
Investment bank TD Cowen predicts that the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will not approve an Ethereum spot ETF until late 2025 or early 2026. Earlier this month, the bank stated that approval might come after the November 2024 elections. Six companies, including BlackRock and Fidelity, have applied for an Ethereum spot ETF. Last week, the SEC once again delayed its decision on Grayscale Investments' Ethereum spot ETF application, following earlier delays this month for other applications.
