CME data shows probability of Fed rate cut in March has fallen to 35.5 per cent
According to the CME "Fed Watch": the probability that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged in March in the range of 5.25%-5.50% is 64.5%, and the probability of a 25 basis point cut is 35.5%. The probability of keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 5.4 per cent, the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 62.1 per cent, and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points is 32.5 per cent.
