CoinGecko released a report stating that research shows in terms of NFTs, the
Ethereum network led in 2023 with a
market share of 72.3%, and a transaction volume of $85.4 billion. However, compared to 2022, Ethereum's market share has fallen below
Bitcoin and
Solana networks. The second largest NFT blockchain is Bitcoin, which held a market share of 12.9% in 2023 with a transaction volume of $1.5 billion. After introducing Bitcoin ordinal numbers, Bitcoin has become one of the biggest
blockchains for NFT transactions. Ethereum and Bitcoin dominate the NFT field, accounting for a total of 85.2% of NFT transaction volumes.
