The recent inflation data in the United States has not been revised, which has relieved the market
According to the latest data released on Friday, after annual revisions, the inflation rate in the United States at the end of last year was roughly similar to the preliminary report. Data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that in the last three months of 2023, the annualized increase in consumer prices excluding food and energy was 3.3%, consistent with previously reported figures. The revision to overall data was also minimal, but the month-on-month growth rate for December last year was revised down from 0.3% to 0.2%.
