Andrew Kang: Eight-digit profits were made on many projects last cycle
Andrew Kang, co-founder and partner of Mechanism Capital, a cryptocurrency venture capital firm, stated in a post that "in 2018, I had a $50,000 investment portfolio, and by mid-2021, I had developed this portfolio to a level comparable to many well-known cryptocurrency funds in the field, without taking in any external funds."
The only way to achieve this possibility is to discover early-stage S-class teams with excellent product potential, accumulate most of the ownership of the project through public markets, and support them firmly to grow into liquidity investments that are 100 or even 1,000 times larger.
Support is provided through token incentive/issuance design, marketing/community development strategies, DeFi integration/partnerships, exchange connections, product design, introduction of other signals/value-added funds/investors/users/developers, and becoming an advanced user of the protocol.
"I work with many such projects, whose market value has grown from less than $50 million to over $2 billion, and some have even reached over $5 billion, including Thorchain, Pancakeswap, Frax Finance, etc.
Many followers of the previous cycle, like me, have made eight-digit profits in many of these projects.
When you are truly confident in the potential of the entrepreneurial scale, you are not sensitive to price, and even after the price is revalued 5-10 times, you are willing to continue to accumulate more.
Of course, when the market is overheated, you will eventually sell, but we are far from that point. In this bull market, I am running the same strategy again."
