Report: Terra and Cardano Enter the Top 10 Ecosystems with the Most Failed Projects
The latest "dead coin" report released by AlphaQuest Research indicates that after analyzing more than 12,000 cryptocurrency projects, nearly two-thirds of the crypto projects have perished. The report's criteria for determining a "dead coin" include no longer being listed on CoinMarketCap, having low liquidity and trading volume, discontinued X accounts, and websites. The report points out that 2023 was the toughest year in the cycle from 2020 to 2023, with nearly 60% of "dead coins" disappearing. Of the crypto projects born during the bull market (2020-2021), 72% have already perished. Terra and Cardano ecosystems rank among the top ten categories with most “dead coins”, with 74% of their projects having “failed”.
