CME data shows that the probability of the Fed cutting interest rates in March has dropped to 0.5%
On February 28th, according to CME FedWatch: The probability of the Federal Reserve maintaining interest rates in the range of 5.25%-5.50% in March is 99.5%, and the probability of a rate cut of 25 basis points is 0.5%. The probability of keeping rates unchanged until May is 80.8%, with a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points at 19.1%, and a cumulative rate cut of 50 basis points at 0.1%.
