Polyhedra Network responds to the attack incident: The team is investigating, zkBridge is secure and operating normally.
In response to the attack incident, Polyhedra Network officially announced that the team is working continuously to identify the issue and activate the bridge from opBNB to BNB. All outstanding cross-chain transactions have been delivered, and the bridge will be running at full capacity starting on that day. Additionally, zkBridge is secure, and everything has returned to normal, including THE token price.
Previously monitored by Cyvers Alerts, Web3 full-stack interoperability infrastructure Polyhedra Network was attacked with a wallet access vulnerability on the BNB chain. The attacker withdrew $1.4 million, including $700k worth of THE tokens, then exchanged all tokens for BNB. The attacker's funds came from Tornado Cash. Attacker address: 0x36bf308f6a836f3fbf27c47a135da4992441e8c9; Victim address: 0xa68f42ba706697f8bd8eb2f2458b48bea6a679be. As of press time, the funds are still in the attacker's address.
