Robinhood's cryptocurrency trading volume in February increased by 10%, and its stock price rose by 12% in pre-market trading
On Thursday, Robinhood's stock rose 12% in pre-market trading to $19.23, following reports of a significant increase in trading volume in February. In its latest report after Wednesday's closing, the company stated that trading activity across all asset classes had increased compared to January, with stock trading volume surging by 36% to $80.9 billion, options contract trading volume growing by 12% to $11.91 billion, and cryptocurrency trading volume increasing by 10% to $6.5 billion. As of the end of February, the platform's total assets under custody grew by 16% from January to $118.7 billion.
