Do Kwon has been released from Montenegro prison and awaits extradition

PANews reported on March 23 that according to Bloomberg, Terra co-founder Do Kwon was released from a Montenegrin prison and is awaiting the Supreme Court’s extradition decision.

According to previous news, Terraform co-founder Do Kwon is about to be released from Montenegro prison. But he will remain in Montenegro as he faces international criminal charges. Montenegro's High Court on Friday ordered the confiscation of Do Kwon's passport to restrict his ability to leave the country. Following a court order, Do Kwon will leave Spuž prison on Saturday. Montenegrin prosecutors previously challenged Do Kwon's extradition to South Korea and hoped to extradite him to the United States. If he were convicted in the United States, his sentence would likely be longer.
