Axelar Co-creation: Asset Tokenization is One of the Potential Long-term Driving Factors for Web3 Applications
News on March 25, Forbes recently published an article about asset tokenization. The blockchain technology of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies allows traditional assets to be tokenized on public ledgers, potentially reducing the transfer costs of alternative investments such as stocks, bonds, real estate and art, making them more convenient. The article quotes Sergey Gorbunov, co-founder and CEO of Axelar and Interop Labs, saying that asset tokenization is just one of many potential long-term drivers for Web3 applications. Some infrastructure has matured enough to provide services with significant advantages over traditional systems. You may often hear that blockchain use cases have not yet emerged but in our view, the use cases are far ahead of the infrastructure. Now this situation is beginning to change.
