Grayscale's Chief Legal Officer: The SEC has not deeply discussed the Ethereum spot ETF due to issues that have already reached consensus on the Bitcoin ETF
News on March 26, Grayscale's Chief Legal Officer Craig Salm posted on social media stating that the market does not need to be pessimistic about the Ethereum spot ETF passing in May due to SEC's delay in having in-depth discussions with issuers. This is because Grayscale and other issuers had proactive and constructive conversations with the SEC months before the launch of Bitcoin spot ETF, reaching consensus on details such as creation/redemption procedures, cash and physical assets, APs, LPs, custody etc. These issues do not need to be discussed again for Ethereum spot ETF.
