Bitcoin NFT Sales Now at $2.96 Billion, On Track to Top $3 Billion This Week
Bitcoin's NFT sales grew slightly, outperforming Ether and Solana in daily transactions.BRC-20 and Ordinals, which are not part of a pool, generated more than $9 million in sales in the 24-hour period leading up to 1:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, helping Bitcoin maintain its position as the top NFT network for the second consecutive day. Bitcoin NFT sales were up 51.42% to $16.27 million. Bitcoin NFT's all-time sales now stand at $2.96 billion, and the blockchain is on track to surpass $3 billion this week, a milestone only three other networks have reached. The second-ranked blockchain of the day, Ether, reported NFT sales of $13.01 million, up 47 percent. Third-ranked Solana saw a modest 2% increase in NFT sales, totaling $7.3 million. The top three networks had at least $1 million in sales for the day alone. Fourth-ranked Polygon's NFT sales dropped 13 percent to $916,271 in sales.
