Algorand claims to be the first L1 blockchain using Python as its native programming language
Golden Finance reports that the Algorand Foundation has launched AlgoKit 2.0, claiming this makes Algorand the first L1 blockchain to use Python as its native programming language. The team stated: "Popular applications like Instagram, Spotify and Uber are all written in Python, which is used by over 10 million software developers worldwide. AlgoKit 2.0 is an upgraded version of the AlgoKit Command Line Interface (CLI) - a simple one-stop toolset for building on Algorand. It allows developers to write Web3 applications using regular Python. The toolkit has been internally restructured through an improved template system to provide a more simplified overall developer experience."
