The CEO of BlackRock is surprised by the retail investors' response to the Bitcoin ETF spot
BlackRock co-founder, chairman and CEO Larry Fink said he was "surprised" by the retail investors' response to the company's Bitcoin ETF, and stated that he is "very optimistic about Bitcoin's long-term survival ability". In an interview, Fink briefly commented on BlackRock's IBIT. He said: "Before submitting the application, we did not predict that we would see this type of demand from retail investors." "(Bitcoin) has risen so much it surprised me... We are now creating a market with stronger liquidity and higher transparency," Fink said when talking about participating in Bitcoin trading.
