Namada releases a governance-based mainnet roadmap and plans to launch the mainnet in five stages
According to news on April 3, multi-chain data protection Layer 1 Namada released its proposed mainnet launch roadmap, which disclosed that the mainnet will be launched in five stages. This process will be decentralized by the Namada community through Namada’s on-chain governance system. Driven by a standardized approach: 1. The first phase “Block Party” will introduce on-chain governance and enable proof of equity; 2. The second phase “Pledge Party” will introduce pledge rewards for principals and verifiers; 3. The third phase During the "Shielding Party", the transfer and shielding of governance-supported IBC assets will be enabled; 4. The fourth phase of the "Shielding Reward Party" will introduce shielding rewards for governance assets; 5. The fifth phase of the "NAM Party" will enable NAM transfers. Namada is currently in a public testnet phase, during which validators are stress-testing the network, and once completed, the genesis block proposal will be released and discussed by the community before entering the launch process.
