Galaxy plans to raise $100 million for first cryptocurrency venture capital fund
Galaxy plans to start accepting outside capital and shift its investment focus to early-stage cryptocurrency companies. The crypto investment giant plans to raise a $100 million fund to invest in early-stage crypto companies. The move will help accelerate the growth of the crypto space and provide investors with more opportunities to participate in the crypto market. The fund, called Galaxy Ventures Fund I, LP, aims to invest in as many as 30 startups over the next three years, the email said, adding that it will target financial applications, software infrastructure and crypto protocols.
