According to CME's "Fed Watch", the probability of the Federal Reserve keeping interest rates unchanged in May is 98.7%, and the cumulative probability of a 25 basis point rate cut is 1.3%. The likelihood of the Fed maintaining steady rates into June stands at 37.7%, with a cumulative chance for a 25 basis point reduction at 61.5% and a cumulative possibility for a 50 basis point cut at just 0.8%.
