Lin: The DVOL Bitcoin Volatility Index is around 70%, which is at a relatively high level
The "Web3 Insight Summit", co-hosted by ChainCatcher, RootData, and Oak Grove Ventures, was held today at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel in Hong Kong. During the conference, Lin Chen, head of Deribit cryptocurrency options exchange for Asia Pacific region gave a speech titled "Deribit: Options Data Indicators and Hedging".
Lin Chen explained the meaning of several option data indicators on Deribit and shared how to use these indicators to guide trading. Among them, DVOL Bitcoin Volatility Index is around 70%, which is relatively high. It implies that the expected future high of Bitcoin is 1.7 times its current price while the low would be 1.3 times its current price indicating significant fluctuations in Bitcoin prices.
Lin Chen stated that through multiple option data indicators on Deribit, users can achieve considerable and robust returns.
