Chainlink Labs Blockchain Collaboration Head: Transactions worth over 10 trillion dollars have been implemented on CCIP, with more than 125 billion data points transmitted
Sean Chung, Head of Blockchain Partnerships at Chainlink Labs, mentioned in his speech at today's "Web3 Insight Summit" that the funds involved in cross-chain transactions on blockchain are actually greater than those in the DeFi sector. However, due to the lack of interoperability between different chains, the crypto market is facing a huge problem of liquidity fragmentation and innovation on chain is being stifled.
Chainlink Labs is currently building an interoperability protocol CCIP which connects various applications, public chains and private chains to achieve interconnected Web3. At present, over 10 trillion US dollars TVE (Transaction Value Enabled) has been realized on CCIP with more than 125 billion data points delivered on its chain. It has also reached cooperation with more than 12 global financial institutions including Swift.
