Preview of Important Economic Data and Events This Week
This week will see a series of important economic data and events. On Monday, U.S. Treasury Secretary Yellen will visit China, while the A-share market will see 64 listed companies lifting their share sale restrictions, unlocking a market value of nearly 60 billion yuan. On Tuesday, France's February trade balance and the U.S.'s March NFIB Small Business Confidence Index will be released, and Chicago Fed Chairman Charles Evans is set to speak. On Wednesday, data such as the U.S.'s API crude oil inventory for the week ending April 5th and New Zealand's Federal Reserve interest rate decision up to April 10th will be announced. On Thursday, China's March CPI annual rate and Eurozone's main refinancing rate up to April 11th among other data are due for release; OPEC is also set to publish its monthly crude oil market report. Friday sees the release of China’s March trade balance in both local currency terms and dollar terms along with Germany’s final reading on its March CPI month-on-month change. Saturday brings us information about total number of oil drilling rigs in US till April 12.
