Synthetix will cease trading non-US dollar spot synthetic assets on the Ethereum mainnet
Mars Finance reports that Synthetix has announced on platform X, according to proposal SIP-2059, Synthetix will cease trading non-US dollar spot synthetic assets on the Ethereum mainnet (L1) from April 15 and migrate to the V3 system. Users holding sETH, sBTC or other non-sUSD spot synthetic assets need to take action.
After April 15, remaining non-US dollar spot synthetic assets can only be redeemed into sUSD at prices shown by Chainlink through L1 redemption contracts.
