Cobo Godfish: Predicting Bitcoin to reach 1.5 million dollars is still conservative

During today's 2024 Hong Kong Web3 Carnival roundtable discussion, Orange Book founder Li Yang, Bixin Group founder Xingkong, Cobo co-founder and CEO Shenyu, Nervos CKB architect Jan Xie and Xinhuo Technology CEO Du Jun discussed the theme of "Fifteen Years of Bitcoin".

On the opening day, ARK Invest CEO and Chief Investment Officer Cathie Wood boldly predicted that Bitcoin will reach $1.5 million by 2030. In response to this, Shenyu said: "I think the figure of $1.5 million is still conservative. It will definitely reach $1.5 million; it should take another one or two cycles. Large financial institutions, small national central banks, sovereign funds etc., as core players have started to enter the field. Moreover in my view all key issues with blockchain have been resolved and after one or two cycles we will see a massive outbreak of applications; at that stage reaching $1.5 million for bitcoin won't be a big issue - there is even a broader future with several times more room for growth."
