Sources: Hong Kong will launch first batch of spot Bitcoin ETFs this month
Hong Kong may launch a spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) this month, with the first products likely to be announced next week, two people familiar with the matter said. The timetable would make Hong Kong the first city in Asia to launch the popular ETF and would come much sooner than the industry had expected to launch sometime this year. Regulators have expedited the approval process, one of the people said.
