Fed's Kashkari: May have to wait until 2025 to cut rates
Inflation in the U.S. housing market surprises me; once inflation continues to fall back toward 2%, we can cut rates; need to be patient until inflation falls; probably won't be able to cut rates until 2025; as political heat rises, the Fed is more focused on its own mission.
