Bitinfocharts: BTC network hash rate increased by more than 90% in the past 12 months
Golden Finance reported that according to Bitinfocharts data, the current average hash rate of the BTC network is 618 EH/s (hash per second), reaching an all-time high of 728 EH/s on April 23. In the past 12 months, the network hash rate has increased by more than 90%, which makes the recent single-person mining achievements even more extraordinary. Golden Finance previously reported that Con Kolivas, a software engineer and administrator of the independent mining pool ckpool, posted on social media that a miner had dug out the 282nd independent block in Bitcoin history. When Bitcoin halved at block 840,000 on April 20, the reward for solving block 841,286 was reduced from 6.25BTC to 3.125BTC, which means that it is worth about $200,000 at the BTC price at the time.
