Harvest CEO: The response to virtual asset spot ETFs exceeded expectations, and the development potential is higher than that of the United States
Han Tongli, CEO and CIO of China AMC International, said that the market's response to the subscription of virtual currency spot ETFs is enthusiastic, even exceeding expectations. He explained that it was originally expected that the Hong Kong virtual asset spot ETF would have a slow development subscription process, but in fact, the first-day subscription quantity was more than expected. He believes that Hong Kong's financial and legal systems can seamlessly connect with the global market, and combined with the advanced design of virtual asset spot ETFs that can accept physical subscription and redemption, the development potential of virtual assets in Hong Kong is even higher than that of the United States.
He bluntly stated that the spot ETF product issued by the company this time is actually not profitable, and there is no intention to make money from this product. The main purpose of issuing this product is to lay the "first brick" for the interconnection of the two different ecosystems of traditional finance and encrypted finance, and to profit from it, rather than just making a profit from a product.
