U.S. stocks opened, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 42 points, the SP 500 Index up 0.1%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index up 0.1%. GameStop (GME.N) fell more than 20%. Preliminary first-quarter results showed net sales were lower than market expectations. The company said it may sell up to 45 million Class A shares.
