U.S. Supreme Court: State and federal courts have sole jurisdiction over disputes over Coinbase sweepstakes promotion
In the DOGE lottery promotion launched by cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, there is a conflict between the terms of the user agreement regarding dispute resolution. Coinbase prefers financial disputes to be resolved by arbitrators, while users prefer the intervention of courts. The platform agreement lists these two options separately. On May 23, the US Supreme Court ruled that state and federal courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes related to Coinbase's lottery promotion.
