Starknet Launches Token Incentive Program Worth About $25.2 Million
The Starknet Foundation has announced that it will distribute approximately $25.2 million worth of Starknet tokens to the top 21 projects in the ecosystem as part of its new Catalyst program.Diego Oliva, CEO of the Starknet Foundation, said the program has chosen to reward the top user-facing protocols, with the weighting of these factors measured by both the Starknet Foundation and an independent third party. The funding program is designed to accelerate innovation in Starknet's Ethernet Layer2 scaling solution based on zero-knowledge rollup technology. Funding will be divided into two categories, separating advanced projects from emerging projects on the network. The top six top-performing projects eligible for funding include Ekubo, a token launch platform; AVNU, a DeFi protocol with gas-free transactions; Influence, an on-chain strategy game; Realms, an on-chain gaming world; Nostra, an upcoming crypto-super app for the DeFi protocol; and ZKX, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange.
