Nasdaq, S&P 500 both extend record closing highs for fourth straight session
The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed, with the Nasdaq up 0.34%, the SP 500 up 0.23%, and the Dow down 0.17%. Among them, the Nasdaq, SP 500 index are four consecutive trading days to renew the record closing high. Large technology stocks were up and down, Nvidia rose more than 3%, Tesla rose more than 2%, Apple, Microsoft, Nifty rose slightly; Amazon, Google fell more than 1%, Meta fell slightly. Among them, Apple closed with a total market capitalization of $3.29 trillion, surpassing Microsoft Corp.'s $3.28 trillion, regaining the first U.S. stock throne. Apple, Nvidia and Microsoft all continued to hit new closing highs.
