Fed's Balkin: Scenario in which rates are cut once and then left unchanged may be reasonable
June 18 (Bloomberg) -- Fed Governor Thomas Barkin said in his latest speech that the Fed is always open to adjusting interest rates based on economic data, according to Golden Ten Data. He noted that interest rates are currently at restrictive levels and emphasized that the scenario of keeping rates unchanged after one rate cut could be reasonable.
