Paradigm urges European regulators to approach MEV issue with “nuance”
Paradigm has submitted its views to the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) on preventing abuse in the cryptocurrency market. They pointed out that ESMA should avoid misusing the concepts of traditional financial markets at the underlying blockchain level when dealing with Maximum Extractable Value (MEV), in order to avoid inconsistencies and unexpected consequences. Paradigm calls on ESMA to deepen its understanding of MEV and support innovative tools to address potential abuse risks.
