Slovenia becomes first EU state to issue sovereign digital bond
Slovenia has become the first EU member state to issue a sovereign digital bond, with a 30 million-euro ($32.5 million) note. The bond sale was part of the European Central Bank's experimentation program for money settlement. The settlement was done on-chain through the Bank of France's tokenized cash system.
