Solana-based governance experiment MetaDAO closes ~$2.2M funding round led by Paradigm
Venture capital giant Paradigm recently led a $2.2 million funding round for Solana-based governance experiment MetaDAO, a months-long project to create governance structures that rely on market forces rather than voting. Paradigm will hold 3,035 META tokens, making it the largest single holder of META at 14.6 percent of the total supply, according to MetaDAO's anonymous founder Proph3t. Approximately 30 angel investors purchased an additional 965 META tokens for a total funding of $2,229,950.
