Pyth launches an upgraded version of Oracle Integrity Staking, introducing on-chain staking rewards and penalty mechanisms
Pyth has announced on platform X the launch of an upgraded version, Oracle Integrity Staking (OIS), aimed at enhancing the reliability of data sources and the security of DeFi ecosystems. OIS incentivizes publishers and PYTH holders to participate in staking by introducing on-chain staking rewards and penalty mechanisms, ensuring the security of oracle networks. Publishers can earn rewards by providing high-quality data, but will be penalized if their data is incorrect. In addition, PYTH holders can stake and delegate to publishers to increase their returns. Pyth DAO will oversee key updates and parameters for OIS.
