“Fed sounding board": U.S. unemployment rate not ‘unchanged’ in October
Nick Timiraos, the “Fed's sounding board”, said that the U.S. unemployment rate for October was unchanged at 4.1% on a rounded basis, as reported today. But on an unrounded basis, the U.S. unemployment rate actually rose by about 0.1 percentage point this month, from 4.05% to 4.14%.
