Bitcoin re-pledging platform SatLayer announces integration with Sui
According to Decrypt, Bitcoin re-pledging platform SatLayer announced its integration with Layer1 blockchain Sui, which will enable developers to leverage Bitcoin's $2.1 trillion market value to provide security for decentralized applications on Sui. SatLayer is deployed on the Babylon chain and currently has 57,300 Bitcoins pledged worth $6 billion. The Sui ecosystem had 150 full-time developers in 2024, and this integration will bring new development opportunities for its DeFi ecosystem.
