On December 19, Marc Chandler, Chief Market Strategist at Bannockburn Global Forex, stated, "My personal feeling is that the Federal Reserve is expected to take aggressive interest rate cuts. Therefore, through the dot plot and his hints, I believe the conclusion drawn by the market is that the Federal Reserve will not cut rates as aggressively next year as they previously anticipated."
